Digger's Jigger

Ingredients

Berry Infused Vodka

  • 10 strawberries
  • 10 raspberries
  • 1 vanilla bean seeds scraped
  • 2 cups vodka

Berry Lemonade

    Simple Syrup

    • ½ cup sugar
    • ½ cup water

    Berry Mixture

    • 10 strawberries
    • 10 raspberries
    • ½ cup water
    • ½ cup lemon juice
    • 2 - 3 cups water

    Per Drink

    • 8 oz berry lemonade
    • 3 oz berry vodka
    • 1 oz grenadine
    • ice

    Instructions

    • Combine 10 strawberries, 10 raspberries, and vodka in a sealable container. Place in a refrigerator for 3-5 days. This will allow the berries to infuse into the vodka. After the allowed time to rest, remove the fruit and add the vanilla seeds. Keep refrigerated until you are ready to use.
    • Combine ½ cup of water and sugar in a saucepan and place over medium-high heat. Whisk until the sugar has dissolved. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and let simmer for 5 minutes. Remove the syrup from the heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
    • Place the strawberries, raspberries, and water in a blender and pulse until smooth.
    • In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, berry mixture, simple syrup, and water. Taste and determine if you want to add additional water. Keep refrigerated until you are ready to use. Can be stored for up to 1 week.
    • To make a digger’s jigger, fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the berry lemonade, berry vodka, and grenadine. Cover and shake for 10 seconds. Pour the mixture from the shaker (do not include the ice) into a large glass.
