The Sims 4: Get to Work came out last week. Unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to pick up a copy but my brother did. He has been telling me about all the ridiculous things that were added to the game. He’s been waiting for the addition of aliens into the Sims 4 and he was thrilled that they were added in this expansion pack. While playing, he was a little concerned with how often his male Sims were being abducted. This would lead to more little baby aliens in his household. I’ll probably pick up the expansion pretty soon and can’t wait to dive into the new career paths added.
Some days I feel lazy but want something delicious. One meal I often turn to in this situation is a caprese salad. This is one of the first gourmet recipes you unlock in the Sims 4. I find it silly this recipe is locked out until your Sim has been cooking for a while. The recipe is so simple you could probably do it with your eyes close. The hardest part of this recipe is not eating the sliced items by themselves before you finish assembling it.
Required Equipment: cutting board, knife
Ingredients:
– 2 tomatoes
– 12 oz fresh mozzarella
– fresh basil
– salt
– pepper
– olive oil
– balsamic vinegar
Prepare your ingredients. The tomatoes and mozzarella should be sliced into 1-1 ½ inch thick slices. The basil just needs to be separated from its stem. Arrange the items on a plate. On my plates I did three slice of tomatoes, three slices of mozzarella and 4 leaves of basil.
Salt and pepper the arranged plate. Sprinkle some olive oil around the plate – feel free to put as much or as little as you would like. Finally drizzle the plate with balsamic vinegar and you’ve got yourself a delicious salad!
