Master Alfredo has just tasked me to cook a mushroom quiche. This is going to be easy! I just need to go out and find some fresh, delicious mushrooms. Now where shall I look first? The forest nearby has to have a few laying around. Would it be smart for me to run out as a cook? Probably not. Before I head to the forest I’ll make a quick stop at the guild office. There I’ll switch my life up and pick up my wand. After that, straight to the forest and then the freshest of mushroom will be in my quiche. Master Alfredo is going to LOVE it. Sizzle is going to be so jealous of my skills. Time to hunt for some mushrooms!
Fantasy Life is a very entertaining game to play. I’ve unfortunately been unable to complete it because of the amount of things you can do. I get easily distracted by all the side quests for each of the major lives I chose. Not only were the quests distracting me but creating the best items I could for each of my different lives was time consuming. I eventually found myself doing everything except the main story and had more hours played in the game than I expected. I’ve really enjoyed my time with the game and I find myself still picking it up from time to time.
As mentioned above we are going to make the best mushroom quiche Master Alfredo has ever had. I find quiches to be a delightful and filling meal. I love how easy it is to change up a quiche just by what you put into it. Quiches are fairly easy to make. There is minimal prep work needed and the cooking is mostly done by the oven. When making my mushroom quiche, I used regular button and baby portobello mushrooms. Feel free you use your favorite mushrooms for this recipe.
Required Equipment: pan, bowl, whisk
Ingredients:
1 homemade or store bought pie crust
1 shallot
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
1 tbsp thyme
½ cup gouda cheese, shredded
½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
4 eggs
¾ cup heavy cream
Preheat your oven to 350℉. Saute the mushroom and shallots until they have crisped up. In a bowl whisk together the eggs and heavy cream.
Place ¾ of the cheese on the bottom of your pie crust. Place the mushrooms and shallot next.
Carefully pour the egg mixture into the crust. Finally, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Bake for one hour. When it is done baking, remove from the oven and allow it to cool for 10 minutes before cutting to serve.
