The Dallas Fuel had a bit of a rough first season but managed to have a much more successful last stage. A lot of that had to do with the team finally finding a way to work together and embracing the meta of the game. Mickie and Seagull played a big part in helping the team eventually find its place. I’ve always been a big fan of Mickie. His positive attitude is something I wish we saw more often in the gaming community. Even though his team was having a rough time, he always came on stage with a smile and kept the morale of his team high. Before the Overwatch League, I really enjoyed watching Mickie in a few tournaments. He has always been an entertaining off tank to watch and I’m happy to see that he continues to play creatively.
We are slowly reaching the end of all the Overwatch League themed popsicle posts (until new teams are announced). As I’ve been working on this, I’ve noticed teams with the darker blue colors are proving to be slightly more difficult to work with. Most fruit that you associate with the color blue end up having more of a purple color when used in mixtures. These popsicles took a handful of attempts until I was happy with the end result. I’ve gone with a blueberry and raspberry combo. This combination is quite delicious and is sure to keep you fueled during the next Overwatch League season.
Ingredients:
Blueberry/ Raspberry Popsicle
1 cups blueberries
½ cup raspberries
1 ¼ cup plain greek yogurt
2 tbsp honey
8 drops blue food dye
Blue White Chocolate
½ cup white chocolate chips
1 tbsp coconut oil
blue food dye
Combine the blueberries, raspberries, greek yogurt, and honey. Blend until completely smooth and well combined. Add the blue food dye and mix well.
Transfer the mixture into your popsicle molds. Place the popsicle sticks in, cover, and place in the freezer overnight (at least 12 hours).
The next day, place the chocolate in a bowl and add the coconut oil. Place in the microwave and heat up until the chocolate melts. Add the blue food coloring and stir to match the Fuel’s colors. Make sure to stir everything together. Set aside and allow to slightly cool.
Set a plate with parchment paper on the side. Remove the popsicles from their mold. Take the popsicles and drizzle the chocolate on them. The chocolate should solidify pretty quickly. Once set, place on the plate with parchment paper. Enjoy immediately or wrap each popsicle in plastic to store in the freezer to enjoy later
