Overcooked 2 is a game I love playing in a group but have never been able to play solo. I find controlling two characters at once is a bit more difficult for me to comprehend than I like. I have tried numerous times and the multitasking just overwhelms me. Luckily, I have my husband who is willing to play this game with me. This game is one of my favorite cooperative games to pick up and randomly play. Sure, it can be a bit stressful at times but once the puzzle is figured out, it is one of the most satisfying feelings. The game has recently released a season pass and has launched with the Campfire Cookoff DLC. This adds a large amount of new content and unique levels. I can’t wait to see what’s to come with the rest of the season pass because this gives me more food to cook in the future and adorable chefs to play with.
The first DLC pack added to Overcooked 2 was the Surf ‘n’ Turf pack. This adds several new recipes to the game. The first recipe you learn is smoothies. Blenders were not in the game prior to this DLC so it was nice to see a new kitchen tool added. When my schedule is hectic, I love simple snack recipes and a smoothie is just that. Since this is the first recipe you learn in the DLC, I figured it was best to keep it as simple as possible. All you will need is the fruit, vanilla extract, and yogurt to make this treat. If you are feeling fancy, you can top it with some whipped cream.
