Starbound: Tropical Punch

I love to go back to Starbound on occasion and calmly explore different planets. I find this game to be very relaxing and helps me clear my mind. I hop from planet to planet, searching for random items to decorate my ship. I especially love having a large instrument collection so I can play any depending on my mood. One of my current favorite items on my ship right now is the Dance-Dance Machine. It has sweet lights and great music! I love DDR so this little addition to the game really hits home for me. Oh just writing and thinking about the game makes me want to go and play some more.

For some reason, a lot of the Starbound food items that inspire me to make a recipe includes bananas. The Tropical Punch is no exception to this. This drink combines the delicious tropical flavors of banana, kiwi, pineapple, and coconut. Be aware that this recipe calls for cream of coconut, not coconut cream, which is essentially the condensed milk version of coconut milk. It is typically made from combining coconut cream with a large portion of sugar. I wouldn’t recommend just swapping it out for coconut cream because you will be missing the sweetness it adds. At your local grocery, store you should be able to find some of this near the Hispanic foods section.

Ingredients:
1 banana
½ kiwi
½ cup pineapple
¾ cup cream of coconut
¼ cup pineapple juice
½ cup white rum
2 ½ cup ice

Combine the banana, kiwi, pineapple, and cream of coconut in a blender and blend until smooth. Add the pineapple juice, rum, and ice. Blend until the ice becomes small chunks. Serve immediately for a more liquidy drink or place in the freezer for 1 hour to chill to have a more slush-like drink.
