The latest update for Stardew Valley came out this past week and I’m excited to start another playthrough. This game is one of my favorite ‘chill out’ games and really enjoy returning to it from time to time. I find it to be extremely relaxing and playing it helps me unwind from those more stressful weeks of work. With the new update, I’m really curious to see what some of the new endgame content will be. Hopefully, I can convince Jeff to jump back in the game with me because the multiplayer mode is so much fun.
Thanksgiving is this week and I felt like whipping up a drink that would pair well with the holidays. The Cranberry Candy found in Stardew Valley seemed like the perfect option. Right around Thanksgiving, many grocery stores here start to have fresh cranberries in stock. I tend to only buy them to cook as a side dish for my Thanksgiving meal. If I follow the recipes exactly I always end up with a handful of extra fresh cranberries. The Cranberry Candy is the perfect way for me to use those few straggles. This cocktail is extremely easy to put together and you get to put a few fresh fruit to soak in the alcohol. I found this drink to be a perfect compliment to my typically heavy Thanksgiving meal.

Haha, this looks great, but I feel obligated to point out that the one in the game must be a simple juice, because it is the favorite of our young friend, Mr. Vincent, who is not old enough to drink. ^_^ Still enjoy the recipe, happy holidays.

Haha! Very good point. I think this recipe can be enjoyed without the whiskey. At that point it is a fancy cranberry and apple juice. 🙂
Happy holidays.
