I have continued my slow climb towards being a bit more fit. I try to play Ring Fit Adventure at least once a week, twice is my real goal! The most difficult part has been finding a timeslot in the day that works well with the rest of my schedule. Right now, I have to wake up at 5:30 in the morning to get it in during the week. It has worked for the most part but waking up so early can be a bit of a challenge some days. I have been very happy with the routine Ring Fit has motivated me towards. I’ve been much more active these past two months than I was a year ago. I’ve really enjoyed being able to plan what parts I’ll work on based on the demands of the current adventure my character is on. I can only recommend this if you are looking for a way to step into the world of being more active!
Ring Fit has a large variety of smoothies and a few other items for your character to carry on each venture. Each of the items will boost your character in some way. It could be something as simple as additional health or one that will make all the exercises you do become a specific color for the purposes of defeating enemies. One of the early recipes you have access to is a strawberry smoothie, obtainable in World 4. I love an excuse to make a strawberry smoothie. This is actually the first time I’ve used frozen berries instead of fresh ones for a smoothie. I usually use frozen yogurt to keep my smoothies cold, but I was surprised how well frozen fruit with regular yogurt works here.Be careful if you have a cheap blender. It might take a bit of time to blend this all together. Give it some time and add additional milk to help loosen things up a bit.
