Whittleton Creek, Vermont. One of those idyllic suburban communities that all look the same. Two targets this time, no rules on how to eliminate them. The fall leaves dress the neighborhood in their oranges and yellows, and I can think of no better way to go unnoticed among the white collar monotony than to don my trusty santa suit. Sometimes, the best disguise is the most obvious one. I spot a muffin food cart on the side of the road, making a note of it for later. I’m a ghost and I can’t leave a trace that I was here.
“Agent 47, there is radio chatter of a man in a Santa suit assaulting officers with a fish. Need I remind you of your mission?”
Okay, maybe I got a little carried away.
Hitman is a series I’ve never played but I’ve gotten to enjoy the game through my friend Nina (check out her streams here) during her Hitman 2 streams. I have really enjoyed being able to watch all the crazy antics she would get into in order to complete her task, many times with nothing but a fish for a weapon. With the upcoming release of Hitman 3, I can’t wait to watch more of her streams. I find the world design in these games to be so incredibly dense. I was really surprised about the amount of food just laying around. Also, all of the people moving around and just all the activity makes this game feel really alive. It is a series I never thought I would consider checking out but after watching so many of Nina’s streams I have considered trying out Hitman 3.
One of the neat things with the series is all the random items you can use to complete your mission. A personal favorite of mine is the blueberry muffin that can be used to knock someone down or distract them. Let’s be honest, who wouldn’t get distracted by a blueberry muffin! The muffins we are making this evening won’t knock someone out if you throw them but would catch someone’s attention for sure. I personally find blueberries to be a bit boring on their own, so I decided to enhance this recipe by including dark chocolate chips. If you aren’t feeling chocolate with these, I would recommend just replacing the chocolate chip amount with additional blueberries.
