Ring Fit Adventure was one of the games that really helped me get through last year. Jeff and I continue to stay at home to keep safe from covid. Both of us used Ring Fit as a way to stay active this past year. I will admit recently I’ve shuffled more of my exercise focus to DDR, but Jeff has still kept up with Ring Fit. I found this game to be a really excellent way to convince myself to get up and be more active. If you are looking for a great way to start including exercise in your routine, I highly recommend giving Ring Fit a shot.
There are many different drinks and food items that your character can use in Ring Fit to get a little extra boost. This week, we are going to be taking a look at the mango chia seed smoothie. This smoothie will allow you to perform an extra turn during combat. It’s particularly useful when in combat with special enemies that like to run away. For some reason, I completely ignored this smoothie’s power and now Jeff’s level is going to surpass mine even with all the progress I made. As always, these smoothie recipes are very easy to put together, and feel free to adjust the flavors to your liking. This will make two portions, so if you are looking for a small serving make sure to halve the recipe.

2 frozen bananas
⅔ cup yogurt
¼ – ½ cup almond milk
1 cup ice
pinch of salt
2 tbsp chia seeds
Place the frozen mango, frozen banana, yogurt, almond milk, ice, and salt in a blender. Blend until smooth. Add the chia seeds and blend together until just mixed in. If the mixture is too thick, add additional almond milk. Serve in a tall glass.
