Jeff and I recently finished our playthrough of Tales of Arise, just in time for the 1 year anniversary of the game’s release. Overall, I thought the game was fine, not one of my favorites of the series for sure. I do think the lack of multiplayer contributes to that. After watching Jeff play through the game, I understand why they decided to go with solo gameplay. A lot of it is very fast paced and it would be extremely easy to lose your character in combat with a further pulled back camera. I do think your AI team does not handle a lot of situations well. Often in fights, many of them would stay in spots that would get them killed instantly. The story of the game took a while to kick into gear but the end result tied everything up nicely together.
There are a lot of delicious recipes in Tales of Arise and it is always so hard to pick which one to make next. Sandwiches are one of my favorite meal types. I could just live off sandwiches if I really wanted to but I really shouldn’t be eating that many carbs. The description in game says, “A sandwich packed with chicken and fresh vegetables, ‘packed’ being the key word. The bread is the only thing that makes it a sandwich.” I tried to make sure that this was a jammed pack sandwich. It will really fill you up! It is no wonder that this meal is one of Kisara’s favorites. This is a great recipe for those starting in the kitchen and I highly recommend giving it a try.
