How about the RGG Summit last week? I waited until the next morning to catch all the announcements and that whole day I was punching the air in excitement. A lot of great announcements and details for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, which I’m super excited for (especially that Joon-Gi Han, Zhao, and Seoung-Hui are going to be playable). It is a bit wild to think how much content the studio has been releasing these past few years. I am extremely grateful and I hope the team is not overworking themselves to get these projects out. As a huge fan of the series, I’m going to be very busy with Gaiden and Infinite Wealth and I couldn’t ask for anything more!
Who else is really excited for Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name? At the beginning of the summit, they showed the opening sequence. We see Kir… I mean Joryu, walking to a bar and then having a moment to himself. On the table, there is a drink and a plate of nuts. No one should be surprised that the first thing I did was immediately get to writing and placing some orders to make this recipe. This is a great snack that you can honestly enjoy any time of the day. Since I’ve made them, I’ve been munching on these and can’t stop. The refreshing highball compliments these nuts really well.
Savory Nuts
1 tbsp canola oil
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp soy sauce
½ tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp wasabi powder
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp kosher salt
1 ½ cups almonds
1 ½ cups cashews
Preheat oven to 350°F. Whisk together the canola oil, maple syrup, soy sauce, sesame oil, wasabi powder, cayenne pepper, and salt in a medium bowl. Add the nuts and toss to coat.
Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the nuts into an even layer, making sure the nuts aren’t stacked on top of each other. Place in the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Toss the nuts and bake for another 10 minutes. Allow to cool before serving. Can be stored in an air-tight container for up to 5 days.

4 – 6 oz ginger beer
ice
Prepare a highball glass with several ice cubes. Add the whiskey and lime juice. Top with ginger beer and stir gently. Serve immediately.
