Thanksgiving is just a few days away! Thanksgiving is absolutely my favorite holiday and I can’t wait to have a lot of friends and family over to celebrate with a huge variety of delicious food and drinks, I’m sure many of you are preparing your cooking list for all the guests you’ll have over, a neat dish to bring to a party, or just something a little fancier to enjoy all to yourself. Here is my updated list of recipes that will compliment any holiday feast. I have included recipes found on the site as well as the Fallout Cookbook.
Appetizers
Artichoke Dip from Stardew Valley – I can eat this whole thing by myself in one sitting. I really love this dip and highly recommend it for those who enjoy artichokes. It’s also quite simple to make but wonderful enough to make anyone look like a Rank 10 chef.
Yum-Yum Deviled Eggs from Fallout Cookbook (pg 19) – These deviled eggs can be prepared the night before Thanksgiving. The addition of miso gives these deviled egg a nice little salty bite.
Sides
Pesto Pasta Salad from Guild Wars 2 – I am a fiend for things with noodles in it. This pesto pasta salad is perfect for parties and can be made ahead of time to keep your schedule open during Thanksgiving day.
Japanese Potato Salad from Tales of Berseria – The use of Japanese mayo, rice vinegar, and shichimi togarashi adds a different flare to the popular side dish of potato salad.
Radish and Cucumber Salad from Stardew Valley – I can’t wait to serve this salad at my Thanksgiving meal this year. It is very refreshing and not too difficult to make.
Instamash from Fallout Cookbook (pg 67) – Adding some blue cheese to your Mashed Potatoes will gives you that irradiated Fallout feel, but in a good way. I promise!
Soda Bread from Fallout Cookbook (pg 77) – This is a very easy sweet bread to make. It is one of the many recipes in the book that I have made several times and am planning to make again this week..
Desserts
French Silk Pie from Paper Mario – The last time I made this for a work potluck, it was almost gone before I got a slice!
Pumpkin Cookie from Don’t Starve– These little cookies will punch you in the face with autumn flavors. They are a great little treat to compliment any meal.
Fortified Pumpkin Cheesecake from Breath of the Wild – This has become my go-to pumpkin pie. It is on my Thanksgiving menu this year. If you are a fan of pumpkin flavored desserts, this one is perfect for you. And honestly, even if you aren’t the biggest pumpkin fan, it’s still really good.
Tiramisu from Battle Chef Brigade – I just brought this to my company Thanksgiving potluck. It very easy to make and will make any coffee lover a very happy person.
Mutfruit Crumble from Fallout Cookbook (pg 115) – If you would like to make delicious individual sized desserts for everyone, this one is perfect. It is also one of the easier desserts to make in the book.
Spicy Chocolate Bundt Cake from Fallout Cookbook (pg 147) – I love this spin on a chocolate cake. The little bit of spice pairs amazingly with the chocolate. Don’t worry, it won’t be overly spicy.
Beverages
Gluhwein from Overwatch – Mulled Wine is a great fall time drink, especially if you live in a place a bit colder than south Texas! A nice warm glass of seasoned wine is the right answer for any big feast.
Raspberry Soda from Golf Story – The syrup for this soda can be prepared ahead of time. I find this soda to be one of the lighter sodas on the site. It’ll compliment any meal and won’t not overpower your tastebuds.
S.P.E.C.I.A.L from Fallout Cookbook (pg 189) – If you are looking for something with a bit of a boozy punch, This is a great party drink. I love the combination of flavors of this drink. Serve it in a punch bowl for that extra wow factor.
